We are pleased to announce that our key surveyor, Mark O’Hara has been awarded Fellow status by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
“Fewer than 20% of members have been awarded fellowship status. As well as demonstrating significant career achievements and successes, fellowship demonstrates a passion for developing the industry, sharing knowledge and supporting others to reach their goals.
FRICS status provides evidence that Fellows are committed to the following principles:
Demonstrate intent to further the profession
Fellows actively engage the industry and create demand for professionals.
Act for the benefit of a third party
Consumer protection and the development of the profession for the public advantage are very much at the core of RICS’ objectives. With careers demonstrating success and authority Fellows not only support clients and their employers, but also students, graduates, trainees, colleagues and the wider society and countries they interact with both professionally and personally.
Promote the profession
RICS seeks to influence governments, international organisations and key stakeholder organisations around the world with the aim of developing and embedding truly international standards and creating a vibrant and sustainable land, property and construction sector.
RICS’ goal is to be recognised in key international markets as the leading body that develops and enforces professional standards, and offers access to the most sought after professional status. Fellows support this activity by influencing governments and key stakeholder organisations and encouraging all relevant professionals to pursue RICS membership.”
